Privacy Policy -In A Nutshell
1. Only people who have explicitly and freely opted in receive our newsletter, we never used pre-checked sign-in boxes and our standard sign-up is via double opt-in.
2. For most of you we only hold your email address as well as the IP address through which you signed up for the newsletter; for some of you we also hold your first and/or last name and a telephone number. We have no personal information on you beyond that.
3. Your data is safely stored and has never, nor will it ever, be shared with any third parties.
4. Your data will only be used for the original purpose of receiving our newsletter and info-shots and won’t be used for anything else.
5. All our newsletters have always included and will continue to include, an unsubscribe button through which you can opt-out at any point. You can also email us if you wish to be removed from our mailing list.

2. Information that We Collect from You
2.1 By visiting the site you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy
2.2 We may collect information that you provide to us to subscribe to our website services, email notifications, newsletters and/or marketing information.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
13. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
14. Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

16. How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
