Hezbollah and Nusra .] including al-Qaida.\u00a0 The context of the attack is also misleading as the worst domestic terrorist attack in America was the murder of 168 people and injury of 680 others by the white terrorist Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma bombing).\u00a0 However, an Islamaphobia agenda is being promoted, and those facts don&#8217;t fit.<\/p>\n<p>The presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump, opposed to gay marriage, labelled the attack an ISIS atrocity to further his Islamaphobic &amp; race agenda.\u00a0Fellow Republican, Senator\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cruz.senate.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ted Cruz<\/a>\u00a0used the attack to try and score political points.\u00a0 He implied that the Democrats did not stand up to ISIS who call \u201cfor the murder of gays and lesbians.\u201d\u00a0However, Senator Cruz\u2019s father, Pastor<a href=\"https:\/\/thefamilyleadershipsummit.org\/extended-bio-pastor-rafael-cruz\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0Rafael Cruz<\/a>, is an anti-gay Tea Party crusader.\u00a0 Both attended and were keynote speakers at an <a href=\"https:\/\/freedom2015.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">event<\/a> that called for the mass extermination of the gay community.\u00a0 Neither father or son objected to Pastor Kevin Swanson preaching that gay couples \u201cshould be put to death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There was no stinging rebuke from the establishment media or indeed coverage.\u00a0 Just one CNN commentator asked Ted Cruz a question about attending a conference which called for the genocide of LGBTI people. He avoided the question.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/imjussayin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/LGBTI-Orlando-Dead-01-www.imjussayin.com_.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"2026\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/imjussayin.com\/blog\/orlando-the-politics-of-hate\/lgbti-orlando-dead-01-www-imjussayin-com\/\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/imjussayin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/LGBTI-Orlando-Dead-01-www.imjussayin.com_.png?fit=699%2C417&amp;ssl=1\" data-orig-size=\"699,417\" data-comments-opened=\"1\" data-image-meta=\"{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;orientation&quot;:&quot;0&quot;}\" data-image-title=\"LGBTI Orlando Dead 01 | www.imjussayin.com\" data-image-description=\"\" data-image-caption=\"\" data-large-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/imjussayin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/LGBTI-Orlando-Dead-01-www.imjussayin.com_.png?fit=699%2C417&amp;ssl=1\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2026\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/imjussayin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/LGBTI-Orlando-Dead-01-www.imjussayin.com_.png?resize=699%2C417\" alt=\"The photographs of some of the young people who died\" width=\"699\" height=\"417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/imjussayin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/LGBTI-Orlando-Dead-01-www.imjussayin.com_.png?w=699&amp;ssl=1 699w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/imjussayin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/LGBTI-Orlando-Dead-01-www.imjussayin.com_.png?resize=300%2C179&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 699px) 100vw, 699px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/UK_Independence_Party\">Ukip<\/a>\u2019s John Lyndon Sullivan asked on Facebook \u2018if we shot one \u201cpoofter\u201d whether the next 99 would decide on balance, that they weren\u2019t after-all?\u2019\u00a0 Nigel Farage leader of Ukip defended the comment.\u00a0 Farage, who is against gay marriage, included a \u2018conscience clause\u2019 in his manifesto that allowed businesses to discriminate against gays. \u00a0This political party has a history of making anti-gay comments.<\/p>\n<p>It will always be acceptable to disagree or not share another\u2019s point of view. \u00a0It is not acceptable to be vitriolic and poisonous.<\/p>\n<p>Leaders speak with moral turpitude on sexuality, race, religion and the disabled.\u00a0 In 1999, it led to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bnp.org.uk\/\">BNP<\/a>\u2019s David Copeland detonating a nail bomb in a gay pub.\u00a0 It killed a straight pregnant woman and two others.\u00a0 Preceding this attack nail bombs went off in Brixton and Brick Lane, areas with high Black and Asian populations.
