Their research implicitly traces 19th century photographic developments in relation to socio-cultural and visual accounts of the black presence in Great Britain.<\/p>\n<p>The Missing Chapter Collective consists of young, aspiring cultural producers, historians and artists. They create a series of multimedia projects and events in response to the 19th century photographs unearthed as part our The Missing Chapter archive research project.
