Far More In Common Than Separates Us | www.imjussayin.com

Human beings commit atrocities on each other because of sex, race, and religion. Despite this, we have far more in common than separates us. Two schoolgirls, one Muslim and one Jewish (below) are proof of this.

Four years ago today, London welcomed the world for the Olympic Games. The central message of the opening games was Britain’s diversity and tolerance. Today, we are a nation turning our backs on that message as Brexit and the huge rise in hate crimes illustrate.

As people, we have far more in common than separates us.  Religion and politics would have us believe otherwise.

I feel that message of togetherness will prevail. A Muslim girl and a Jewish girl show how we are one, how as people we are connected. They also show us hope.

Enjoy.
